ESFP Relationships- Core Elements
The core elements of love and a healthy relationship are trust, respect, attraction, and investment. According to TypeMatch Relationship Dynamics, here is how those elements align for ESFPs:
Trust:
ESFPs trust those that are loyal and reliable and quickly lose trust for those who do not keep their word or whose actions don’t align to what they say. They need to see that their partner is consistent, means what they say, and has a lot of integrity. Additionally, ESFPs trust experience and so are more likely to take the word of someone who has experienced something for themselves.
Respect:
ESFPs respect those that respect their values and make them feel heard and understood. They lose respect for those who do not understand or share their values. ESFPs respect those who understand and empathize with their perspective and can realize the truth in it. When an ESFP respects someone they will value them and their opinion greatly.
Attraction:
ESFPs are initially attracted to those that think highly of them. Basically, ESFPs love to have their achievements and status acknowledged and admired. Conversely, they become easily annoyed when someone tries to make them verify their beliefs without any regard for how they feel about them.
Investment:
When an ESFP decides to be with someone, they invest their future in them. They are extremely loyal and dedicated to making life with the other person happen. They don’t see a future with anyone else, and as a result, if a breakup happens, it can feel for the ESFP like their future was stolen from them. If an ESFP is over someone, they will start to look around at all their other options and appear to move on quickly.
